Florida Senate Update

Senator Don Gaetz speaks at the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors Commercial Forum on the proposed constitutional Amendment 1 to reform the state's property tax system, and provide some relief to both homeowners and investors. This has since passed by the vote of the people. We are already starting to see activity in the housing market due to this change. A new bill is in the process of being presented to lower the cap on taxes on investment properties.
